Haylee Meets Cooper & Lindsey

This morning Haylee and I met my

good friend Lindsey for lunch at the Daily Bread.

Haylee was really awake (unusual for her!) and

loved meeting Linds and Coop for the 1st time.

snow cap!

Dentist Trip

My dentist, Dr. Holly Ellis, is also a close friend &

my sorority sister. Haylee and I went in for mommy's

6 month check-up. The office girls loved passing her

around while she slept the whole time! We had fun letting

Auntie Holly take pictures with her and the mouth

suction and the big blue toothbrush!

This past weekend Amy & Claire (7 months) came 

and stopped by our house to meet Haylee.  It was

so fun to see the difference 5 months makes between 

the girls!  Claire was so cute and rolling all over the place.

I know crawling is just around the corner for her!  

Haylee and I are really excited to visit the other

dietitians at the JB VA this Friday!

Yesterday's Adventures

Yesterday, Haylee & Mommy visited

Daddy at his work. We met John, all the ladies of the

8th floor and stayed for lunch! She loved Daddy's office!

It is such a great feeling to have my friends be so

excited to visit and play with Haylee! Last Friday

Stacy, Haylee & I had lunch and visited then later that

afternoon Holly was in the neighborhood and stopped by.

Holly & I have been Target clearance shoppers for quit some time

and last Friday Holly brought Haylee her 1st $3 clearance

Target gift....a pink snowsuit overalls for this winter! We love it!

Melanie's Baby Shower

Our good friends Melanie & Nathan are expecting

a baby girl this April. On Sunday, Haylee attended

her 1st baby shower and behaved wonderfully!

I think all the ladies loved passing her around &

laughing about her big hairbow. Congrats Melanie & Baby Bath!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Monkeying Around!

Haylee was sporting her Gymboree monkey

sleeper and playing with her Curious George stuffed

animal monkey. She had so much fun!

Pediatrician Check-Up

On Wednesday Haylee had her 7-week pediatrician check-up visit where she got
her 1st round of vaccinations. Poor Haylee was stuck 3 times in the thighs and had
an oral liquid live culture vaccination too. She did great after her 10 seconds of screaming and
only needed 4 doses of Tylenol over the past 36 hours!

Haylee now weighs 11 pounds and is 22" long. This puts her at the 45th percentile for height &
the 50th percentile for weight. I can't believe how much she has grown and changed since birth!

We were sorry to miss the baptism of Haylee's cousin Holden but love checking out Holden's blog for pictures! Congrats baby Holden!

We had a fun Monday visiting Nana, Papa & JP

today. John Paul loves holding & touching Haylee.

He even gave her a Valentine's Day card today!

Weekend Pics

This weekend Mommy & Daddy took

Haylee to Fenton Park. The weather was nice and it was a

fun place to stroll her around at. On Saturday

morning Haylee met Nana's "Big Table" bicycling group at

Einstein bagels (their usual hangout). She was a hit and loved being

passed around to all the girls! We also had bath night on Saturday then

dined with Melanie & Nathan who are expecting baby Olivia this April!

Haylee's 1st Date! Don't Tell Daddy...

Haylee had her 1st date with Adyn, my sorority sister Tarah's son.

Haylee is the older women, born only 7 days before Adyn.

We lunched at McAllisters (where Haylee slept the whole time!) and

then went back to my house so they could really meet each other.

Tarah and I both love the picture of the babes holding hands!

Hopefully Daddy won't make Haylee wait 16 years until

her next date!

Girly Gift

Mommy & Daddy bougtht Haylee new hair bow

headbands for her Valentine's Day gift.  

They are fabulous and she can't wait to wear them!

frusterated as you can see!

Haylee loves when visitors stop by.  Jen & Abby are

friends of mommy's and it was great to see them.  Abby even

helped Haylee with bath time!  Cousin Steph & Ella were in town

from Ft. Leavenworth Kansas so Aunt Ann hosted a girls 

brunch at her house last Saturday.  It was really fun & Ella

loved holding Haylee.  Haylee was like a real life baby doll

for her!
