when she doesn't get her way!

John Paul goes to Kindergarten!!!

I cannot believe that my sweet nephew John Paul
is starting Kindergarten. It seems like yesterday
when I was feeding him bottles, changing his diapers
and watching him learn to crawl! I am blessed
to have such a beautiful, kind nephew who I adore.
Here are a few pictures from Nana's camera
capturing his BIG day!!! Love you JP!

(Nana is an amazing mother to me and my sister
& a more AMAZING grandmother to JP and Haylee!)

Meeting his teacher

JP's first day of Kindergarten was great.
He goes until 11:45am each morning and when
talking to him yesterday afternoon, the 1st thing
he said was "Aunt Kiki, I have a locker!"
When I asked what he puts in the locker, he replied
"you know, stuff!"....Ahhh, so cute and sassy!

Weekend Fun!

Last night was Girls Night Out! 8 of us met at
the Drunken Fish in the CWE for sushi and drinks,
then headed over to SubZero vodka bar for
martinis. The sushi was fabulous (of course I
eat nothing raw) and the drinks were great!Holly & Em with our sushi ordering form

(we could only finish 1/2 and it was delish)

Even with 2 preggers girls, we closed the bar
down till 1:15am!

Christian took Haylee to the Ballwin
Park today at 8am so mommy could
catch another hour of sleep to recuperate
from her Girls Night Out. He even took
pictures! Thanks baby!

Our Little Helper

Haylee is such a good helper around the house...she loves to put her dishes in the sink after she is done eating, loves to wash her own hands, picks up her toy without a fuss (usually!), likes helping mommy put her clean laundry on hangers, and loves to empty the dishwasher...

This morning after I was finished blow drying my hair, I heard Christian and Haylee conversing in her room. I entered to find her trying to put on and pull up her dress bloomers. (Daddy was providing a little bit of help too!). It was so cute and so grown up! Where has my little baby gone? My toddler is turning into such a big girl lately. It is exciting and emotional at the same time!
