Thanksgiving Holiday Fun!

This Thanksgiving holiday was very
busy, but fun! Haylee's 1st Thanksgiving
morn started out by trying on her snow bibs
& winter hat and wearing them while we
watched the Macy's Day Parade
at home. Later on that day we went over
to mom & dad's house for a late
lunch/dinner. We were joined by
my cousins Brian, Steph & Jon,
Ella & Gavin, Aunt Ann & my sister and JP.
The kids loved playing with each other
and since Haylee is walking now, she
did a great job keeping up with Ella, JP
and Gavin!
Friday I had to work (boo!) but was
then greeted by my in-laws, SIL and
my nephew Holden. H & H had such
a good time playing with each other while
all the adults gabbed, ate tons & shopped!
I love holidays and am SO thankful for
my wonderful husband, daughter & family!

Thanks Auntie Holly for the great snow bibs!

Wanna take a ride in my coupe?...

Two Saturdays ago it was fantastic weather
in St. Louis so I decided to get out
Haylee's coupe! She loved riding in it
and feeling the breeze through her hair...
(wow, is this what 15 1/2 will be like?!)
Thanks Amy for handing down this
fun toy!

Stinky face! Really mom, another pic?

Look to the left...

Look closely, she is giggling but her finger
is in the way! Fingers are always in her mouth
these days since are top teeth are breaking through!

Exciting Events!

Two exciting events happened last week....1) I bought a Honda CR-V and 2) Haylee started walking!!!

I have been in love with the CR-Vs and Chris and I decided it was time for a little bigger car than my civic. I am not excited about adding another car payment for the next 5 years, but I am already in love with my new car! It is so spacey, drives great, and lets face it...its a Honda-enough said!

Last Friday (ironically Friday the 13th), Haylee decided to walk 6 steps in a row! Christian and I were both home from work in time to witness it. For the past 3-4 weeks she has been taking about 2 steps then falling, but on Friday she did 6 in a row. Then she crawled to her room and not even one minute later she took 6 more steps in a row! Over this week she has been practicing and two nights ago we witnessed her walking 9 steps down the hallway! (thats her longest distance so far!). I didn't walk until I was 15 months, so if she keeps this new learned trick up, Haylee might be a pro by her 1st birthday!!! She is growing so fast and is such a smart-pants! (of course I am her mother so I am biased!)

Happy Wednesday!

Look what I found...again!

Haylee loves finding the toilet paper holder
in the hallway bathroom.....
A favorite mess to make that never gets old!

A few more pics!

Just wanted to add a few more pictures
from last Friday. These were taken
on Mei-Li's camera (Haylee's sitter!).
Enjoy & happy November!!

Happy 30th Birthday Holly!

My good friend Holly's birthday
is on Halloween. This year she wanted
to go to the West End's Halloween Bash.
I don't really like dressing up but felt
obligated since costumes are pretty much
mandatory in the CWE. So, I decided
to put on the poodle skirt & become
Sandra Dee from the 50's!
Our sorority sister Jess came into
town too and was a geisha...
The birthday girl Holly was Shirley,
a 1950's diner waitress...She looked fantastic!
Happy Birthday Lady!

Ladybugs love to go trick-or-treating...

Saturday evening around 5pm we put
Haylee in her ladybug costume.
She was adorable!!!
Nana came over at 5:30pm & we went
trick-or-treating around the neighborhood.
Haylee had a fantastic time and was
really excited about exploring her
collected candy (thanks Sue Sue for the
matching ladybug candy catcher!).
Later on that night Haylee & Chris
drove me to Holly's 30th bday party
and while I was partying at the Central
West End's famous Halloween Bash,
Haylee was in bed & Chris
manned the door for trick-or-treaters.
Needless to say Haylee had a fantastic
1st Halloween!

lollipop....sticky!

Weekend Fun!

To start off the holiday weekend, Chris & I
ate at Applebee's Friday night and we
decided to dress Haylee in one of her ladybug
costumes. This was not her "official" costume
(those pics in the next post!), but the outfit
was so cute and I bought it 2 months ago
so I wanted her to wear it! The staff at
Applebee's loved her costume and we
think she is the cutest ladybug we have
ever seen!!!!
On Halloween Saturday, my good friend Melanie
stopped by with her daughter Olivia (7 months)
so the girls could play & be photographed in
matching outfits. I bought the girls matching
candy corn Baby Legs &
Melanie got the girls matching Halloween
onesies... Olivia & Haylee loved
seeing each other and sharing
pumpkins together! Melanie and I are
such good friends & we know our
daughters will continue to grow up together
and become good friends too!

I added one of Haylee's tutu
to her outfit for sass!

How cute are these girls?!
