Olivia + Haylee = BFF

Last Sunday we had dinner at the Bath's house.
Their daughter, Olivia, is almost 4 months old
and surprisingly about as tall as Haylee!
Melanie and Nathan are good friends to Chris and I
and we can't wait for the girls to grow up together.
Enjoy the cute pics of Haylee & Olivia checking each
other out!

I married the biggest Razorback fan in STL!

Last Thursday Christian came home with
his new Missouri Arkansas Razorback license
plates. He has been patiently waiting for over a
year to sport the hog on his car! He was so excited
to put on his front & back plates that I thought he
was going to pee in his pants! GO HOGS!!!

Saturday Morning Fun...

Haylee, Chris & I were goofing around
this morning...but what a cute outfit Haylee
is sporting given to her from Sue Sue.
We both love listening to her giggle!

Oops, Haylee bumped into her closet door this
morning & got a boo boo above her right eye brow...
Luckily she is feeling just fine!

Maybe a bit too small for this
position!

7 Months Old Already...

Happy 7 months Birthday, Haylee Elizabeth!

Pizza, Pizza!

This past Sunday while Daddy was
driving home from his float trip,
Haylee & I decided to stop by Papa's
house and make home-made pizza with
cousin John Paul. JP was really
excited to create his own lunch (even though he
ONLY wanted pepperoni & olives!) and
was a great little italian chef!

YUMMY!

Cousin Cuddles!

Our nephew John Paul is so good with Haylee.
He loves playing with her & making her laugh!
Usually on Wednesdays JP is with Nana & they
pick up Haylee from the sitters house.
When I got home, the two of them were just
giggling away. So cute!

Our Little All-Star!

Living in St. Louis has always been
so much fun, but having our city
highlighted during the All-Star Game
was amazing! Haylee loves wearing her
Cardinal outfits and even liked watching
the game with Chris & I this past Tuesday!
She loves Albert Pujols but let out her biggest
cheers & giggles when the Minnesota Twins
players were announced....(maybe she
wants to move even further North?....hummm...)

Time to Eat!

About a week ago I made my 1st batch of
homemade baby food--sweet potatoes!
When I defrosted the 1st cube two days later
to my surprise Haylee hated them! She gagged
at the site of the spoon hitting her lips. One of my
good friends and co-worker, Amy, told me to
try mixing the sweet potatoes with sweeter foods.
(That's how her Claire liked them--sweet taters
with applesauce!)

BELOW:
Today I was reading how canned pumpkin is
a good vegetable to introduce to infants & it
is really convenient since the only ingredient is
pumpkin & the consistency is great!
So...tonight I mixed my homemade sweet potatoes
with canned pumpkin & Haylee actually ate
them (not the whole serving, but about 8
bites which is progress in my book!)

Introducing Avery Maxwell Williamson

Last Saturday, Stacy & I went to
visit Allison & Max to meet their
new bundle of joy, Avery! He is just
adorable and already a good baby....
He slept the whole time we were there,
except for a 5 second peek of his beautiful eyes.
Congrats new parents!

Born July 8, 2009 @ 6 lbs, 15 oz

1st tooth!!!

This is a crazy picture of Haylee in her
jumper, but if you look closely you can see her
bottom left tooth starting to poke thru!
(unfortunately the drooling & fussiness has also
arrived!)

Sick Day!

Last Thursday Haylee had a fever so I stayed
home from work. It was likely a from a combo
of her 6 month shots & her 2 viral skin rashes...
(Note the red skin & cheeks in her pics!)
I decided to make homemade apple pops &
I think she loved the cold on her teething gums!
(sorry the pictures are posted in backwards order) All cleaned up (above)
Yummy!

I feel sick mommy... But love this pop!

Earlier that morning, Haylee tried out her
mesh feeders. They are little mesh teethers
that hold solid peices of food so babies can chew
& suck withoug the choking hazzard....pretty cool!
Haylee tried a pear slice.

6 month pediatrician check-up

Okay, yesterdays visit to Dr. Koenig's was very interesting for little miss Haylee bug!
She weighed in at 17 lbs (75th %tile for weight) and was 26" long (65th %tile for height).
The doc was impressed on how well she sits up without toppling and her 1st tooth is coming in & we can know feel the tip of her tooth edge with our fingers. She is eating well and overall a very happy baby...

In addition to her 3 shots, Haylee broke out in a scaly, dry spotty, red dotty rash that has progressively gotten worse over the past 7 days. Dr. Koenig diagnosed it as Pityriasis Rosea....it is viral with no treatment other than if she starts itching to give her Benadryl. The course of this skin virus lasts from 6-10 weeks! At least she is keeping good spirits and the spots don't seem to irritate her...her face and body are just yucky looking with lots of red dots and scaly patches! Lots of kisses to our beautiful 6 month old daughter.

Our 4th of July Weekend

Last weekend we travelled to Fayetteville
to celebrate the holiday with my in-laws.
It was so much fun seeing everyone and watching
Haylee and her cousin Holden play.
The babies had a fabulous time at the pool and
were troopers watching fireworks that didn't even
start until 9:30pm. We were sad to leave & miss
seeing the fam already!
