Off we go...

Mommy returns back to work tomorrow so
Daddy gets me fed, dressed, & off to the babysitter's
house each morning.
I did fabulous adjusting to my new routine &
surroundings last week, but can't wait until
5:15pm when Mommy picks me up!

Drool is Cool!

Cousin Steph gave Haylee this wonderful
animal-bead teething ring and she loves it!
She loves using her hands to grab things and
LOVES putting anything in her mouth,
especially this ring and her own hands!

Back to work...soon!

I return back to work next Monday March 30th and am excited to see all my work friends and veterans, but am sure I will miss Haylee terribly during the day!
Chris and I thought sending Haylee to her sitter this week would help her get adjusted to her new surroundings and the other infants there.
Today is Day 3 and Haylee is doing great! Her daily report sheets say she is very smiley and loves tummy time and sitting up with support! Christian is also doing a great job getting Haylee fed and dressed in the mornings since he drops her off in the morning and I pick her up in the evenings!
As any working mommy knows- going back to work is hard. Having such a happy, laid back baby like Haylee makes it a tad easier (just a tiny tad!)

So Big!

March 23rd was Haylee's 3 month birthday!
It is amazing how time flies and how much
she changes day to day. Christian & I feel blessed
every day to have such a happy and healthy baby girl.
Happy 3 months Haylee Elizabeth!!!

Cousins Ella & Gavin with Haylee
Last weekend mom, Aunt Ann, Haylee and I drove
up to Ft. Leavenworth KS where my cousin Steph's
husband Jon is going to school on the army base there.
Haylee was a good traveler and her cousins Ella &
Gavin loved playing with her! They were such good
helpers! Jon's school is gorgeous and it was fun touring the base
with Steph. I am lucky to have them close to St. Louis
right now because they are quite the movers with Jon
being in the Navy... Japan could be a future possibility!

Haylee & Holden

Haylee & Holden had so much fun playing,
squirming, and talking to each other! Even though
they are seperated by many miles, they loved
being together and are so close to each other's
hearts! They are only 18 days apart and
Leanne, Hunter, Chris and I can't wait to see
what the future brings with these two cousins!
(Please excuse the babes' outfits in the first few
pictures--they both were having their clothes washed
due to spit up and stains!)

This past weekend we took Haylee on her first road trip
out of state to Arkansas to visit daddy's Jamerson & Murry
side of the family. Haylee did fantastic with the 6 hr car ride
and adjusted very well to SuSu and Papa's house and all
of the Fayetteville surroundings! The weekend flew by
quickly but all of us had a wonderful time, especially during
family dinner when all of the new babies (Haylee, Holden & Brianne)
got together! WE can't wait for our next visit!

Mommy's co-workers!

Yesterday Haylee and I lunched with Sharon,
Niki, & Stacy from mommy's work.
Haylee behaved really well and the girls had a good
time meeting her!

Nana's Birthday Celebration!

Sunday afternoon we celebrated my mom's
birthday. Katie, JP, Papa & Nana all came
over to our house for a late lunch and cake.
Haylee decided she was going to snooze throughout
majority of the party! Nana had a wonderful
birthday and loves her grandkids
personalized necklace!

Sunday Surprise!

Daddy surprised Haylee and mommy with flowers
on Sunday morning! It was Haylee's 1st time
receiving flowers from her dad, she was very
intrigued with her mini-tulips!

Wednesday

Melissa & Haylee
Haylee and Nana came with Mommy
to get her hair cut and visit Melissa,
my stylist! She was in love with Haylee's
bow & cheeks!

Frog Princess!

Tuesday

Finally I was able to capture a SMILE!

Haylee was napping in her Pack N Play &
Tanner cat didn't know what to think!

Unfortunately while clipping Haylee's
nails, Mommy missed and clipped skin.
Haylee's 1st OUCHIE and mini band-aid!

The BUMBO

Haylee does NOT like her BUMBO
seat although mommy & daddy think she
looks so funny sitting in it!

A bit of stress for Mommy & Daddy!

The past week we have had some childcare drama...our lady who we have had booked since last September cancelled on us because she has to have 3 major surgeries in early April and will be bedrested with lifting precautions. So, Chris and I were frantically left to find Haylee a sitter in the next 3 weeks before I go back to work.

Luckly we found Mei-Li who is so sweet and seems like she will be a good fit for Haylee.
Haylee will start going there on March 23rd, my last week at home so she can get adjusted over at Mei-Li's house.

We are all looking forward to our Fayetteville trip March 13-16 to visit SuSu, PawPa, cousin Holden, Aunt Leanne and Uncle Hunter. Holden & Haylee are having their 1st set of professional pictures together which will be absolutely adorable! (I hope Haylee behaves infront of the camera!)

More postings to come...

Last Friday I took Haylee up the my work to meet some of
the other dietitians. She was really awake and did well
being passed around to many loving arms!
Maybe we convinced Haylee to become a foodie just like us!

Laura & Haylee

Bob & Haylee
On Sunday, Christian, Haylee and I went on
a trip to St. Charles! Thanks to Bob & Lyn
for graciously letting us stop by their home.
I think Laura & Lyn were amazed at how big Haylee has
grown since seeing her as a newborn. It was a fun visit that
started when we 1st arrived and Haylee had left us a nice "gift"
in her diaper. Laura comically said..."eww, why is it that color?"
I can't wait until she has kids and gets hands-on
experience with many poopy diapers of her own!
